Whenever hot work is required in potentially explosive atmospheres, such as in Zone 1 & 2 classified hazardous areas of offshore installations and refineries, our pressurized welding habitat systems provide a safe and controlled workplace without requiring a shutdown; therefore, decreasing any impact on production.
As our Safe-Stop and Safe-Work systems allow hot work and maintenance to continue without the expense of shutting down a producing facility, our pressurized hot work habitat solutions provide safety and cost savings in a diverse range of industries and locations, such as on oil rigs & marine operations, at refineries, chemical processing plants, distilleries, food manufacturing and processing factories, utility and water treatment sites.
Made from high quality durable fire-resistant fiberglass material, our habitats can withstand welding & grinding sparks up to 550° C {1000° F) without the requirement of additional internal lining. This improves safety and comfort for our technicians and anyone else working inside the habitat.
In addition, the floor is tiled with our extra thick fiberglass floor panels to increase the fire resistance to 750° (circa 1350° F), able to contain red hot molten metal.
Our market leading Safe-Stop & Safe-Work ATEX & IECEx certified pressurized habitat systems are 3rd party audited & certified to standard EN60079-13. Additionally, our integrated quality management system has been 3rd party audited & certified to ISO 9001:2015.
